Refurbishment of Subsea Tree

NuStar Technologies has successfully deployed its 7‑1/16” Subsea Well Control Package (SWCP) to support a Subsea Intervention campaign in the Natuna Block, Indonesia.


Completed with zero LTI, the system enabled safe and efficient access to subsea wells, including perforating new production zones, while maintaining full well control throughout the operation.


Engineered specifically for shallow‑water intervention, the SWCP integrates seamlessly with the NuStar riser system and is designed to operate at water depths of up to 120 meters, with a 5000 psi rated working pressure.


The SWCP system includes multiple pressure‑control barriers such as a lubricator, isolation, and a shear & seal, ball valve supported by NuStar’s IWOCS Umbilical with HPU, along with real-time pressure monitoring for enhanced operational safety and reliability.


Certified to API Specification 17G, this successful deployment highlights NuStar Technologies’ commitment to delivering reliable, innovative, and high‑performance subsea intervention solutions for offshore operators worldwide.
