NuStar Techologies fullfilled a significant order for special subsea application equipment - long-term borehole monitoring system (LTBMS), for Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) in Japan. All equipment were designed, assembled and tested in NuStar facility in Singapore. The equipment included CORK Systems, special hydraulic actuated running tool, guide rollers and BOP isolation test tool.
Followed with the successful deployment of the earlier special subsea application equipment, NuStar was commissioned by JAMSTEC to design and manufactured the Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring System which serves to harvest minerals of the subsea floor for scientific and research purposes.
The equipment supplied include the Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring Manifold and Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring Cell. These equipment was successfully deployed in Offshore Okinawa, Japan.
With the successful deployment of the earlier Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring System, JAMSTEC continues to work with NuStar Technologies to design and manufactured the 2nd generation Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring System which serves to meet to their scientific and research purposes.
With the completion of the earlier two systems, NuStar Technologies has been commissioned to upgrade and modified to derive with the next generation of the Submarine Mineral Genesis Monitoring System.
