DIVERTER GUIDE ROLLER

The DGR is designed to install inside the diverter housing and use as a guide for drill pipe during the process of drilling. DGR consists of two main sub-assemblies, namely external housing and internal housing, which allow DGR to rotate radially and axially. Radial rotation helps to reduce the grinding effect between drill pipe and DGR rollers during the process of drilling. Axial rotation enables the drill pipe to be guided up or down.

• • The rollers are configured to support the drill pipe when it is moving in axial direction
• • Internal Housing capable of spinning together with the drill pipe
• • Hinged designed on the Internal Housing, easy removable from the rotary table and replaced without disturbing the drill pipe.
• • Active drainage system that allows the coolant (seawater) to be drained off.
• • Easy access for lubrication via grease ports
